Job Summary

• We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Finance Expert with strong expertise in financial economics and business development. 
• The ideal candidate will possess a robust understanding of financial modeling, investment analysis, and business strategy. Prior experience in the agri-business sector is highly desirable.
• This role will support the organization’s financial planning, develop innovative growth strategies, and provide analytical insights to enhance decision-making and long-term sustainability.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead financial planning, forecasting, and budgeting processes in alignment with business goals.
• Conduct detailed financial and economic analysis to support investment decisions and strategic initiatives.
• Develop and manage financial models, cash flow projections, and risk assessments.
• Identify and evaluate business development opportunities, partnerships, and funding mechanisms.
• Prepare comprehensive financial reports and presentations for executive and external stakeholders.
• Collaborate with operational teams to implement financially viable business models, especially within agri-business and sustainability sectors.
• Drive cost optimization strategies and ensure efficient capital allocation.
• Monitor market trends, macroeconomic indicators, and policy changes impacting the organization’s financial landscape.
• Ensure full compliance with local financial regulations, tax laws, and reporting standards.
• Provide mentorship to junior finance team members and contribute to institutional capacity building.

Qualifications and Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field. A Master’s degree or recognized professional certifications (e.g., CFA, ACCA, ACA) is an added advantage.
• 5–7 years of progressive experience in finance, including exposure to business development and financial strategy.
• Strong background in financial economics, project finance, or impact investment analysis.
• Proven experience working within or supporting agri-businesses or rural enterprise development is preferred.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
• Proficiency in financial software and modeling tools (e.g., Excel, Power BI, ERP platforms).
• Outstanding communication, interpersonal, and stakeholder engagement skills.
• High level of integrity, professionalism, and strong business acumen.
